Redland Road Vineyard started with a simple belief — that great wine begins in the vineyard, not the cellar. We set out to grow grapes the right way: slowly, carefully, and with deep respect for the land beneath our feet.
What began as a passion for the craft has grown into a focused operation dedicated to producing premium wine grapes for home winemakers, local buyers, and regional distributors who share our commitment to quality.
Every cluster that leaves our vineyard carries the character of this land — the warmth of the sun, the texture of the soil, and the care of the hands that tended it.
The Land

Redland Road Vineyard is nestled in the Shenandoah Valley near Cross Junction, Virginia — perched on a hillside at 1,200 feet of elevation. Up here, the air is cooler, the days are long, and the growing season has a natural rhythm that pushes the vines to produce their best.
The soil is a mix of shale rock, clay, and dirt — well-draining and mineral-rich. That combination forces the vines to dig deep for water, producing smaller berries with thicker skins and more concentrated flavor. It's challenging ground, and that's exactly what makes it special.
We farm with the land, not against it. Cover crops between rows, careful irrigation management, and minimal intervention keep the vineyard in balance season after season.
